Welcome to Hull Community Voices
‘We are a natural voice singing group based in Hull. We are an inclusive group, which means we welcome anyone whatever their age, experience or ability. We provide opportunities for people to explore harmony singing through singing a variety of material from around the world and to develop their own voice’.
The aim of Hull Community Voices is to encourage people of all ages and abilities to find or extend their singing voices whilst celebrating the different vocal sounds and harmonies from around the world. The group is ideal for people who feel they can’t sing, as HCV offers a supportive space for people to gain confidence with their voice.

The culmination of the year’s activity in 2007 saw HCV produce it’s first CD recording, by a group of 26 volunteers. The recording of 16 songs drawn from the group's developing repertoire, includes songs from Africa, New Zealand, USA, Macedonia, Croatia, France and one in Gaelic.
Those who chose to participate in this, our first recording project, had a wonderful experience, and the whole process boosted the group’s confidence, and extended our level of vocal achievement.
