HERIB (Hull and East Riding Institute for the Blind) HERIB HELPING THE LOCAL BLIND FOR OVER 140 YEARS HERIB is the local charity looking after approximately 2500 registered blind and partially sighted people who live in our area. HERIB's services include; day centres, visiting service, resource centre, gifts and grants. Our Mission Statement says it all : Our sole purpose is to help and support the changing needs of all visually impaired people in the Hull & East Riding area and to raise the necessary funds to ensure our services are maintained.
