HESSLE MOTHERS UNION -GOSPEL CONCERT

A wonderful evening of Gospel music was had when the local Hot Gospel Community Choir performed at a fundraising concert at All Saints’ Church Hessle on a Saturday in March.
|

|

|
|
The concert was varied from their repertoire and included well known pieces such as “Lean on Me”,”Send it on Down”,”This Little Light of Mine”,and “Amazing Grace” as well as other urban,contemporary, and traditional Gospel Music .The Group, who are based at St John’s Drypool in Hull, have been performing throughout the region and the UK for the last 4 years, and are under the direction of Helen Garnett backed by their own Gospel Band.

A Flower Demonstration was held during December 09 showing Christmas Decorations. The show was presented by Andrew Mason who regularly gives fascinating talks in floral decoration . He was trained by the former Kathleen Knott at Bishop Burton College.
