WHAT IS HFCO?
|
|
|
The HFCO is a network of members of community organisations, voluntary and statutory agencies with a concern for improving local conditions, neighbourhood services and leisure time activities. Since its formation in 1982 the HFCO has encouraged local activity by:
promoting and assisting in the development of new community organisations
providing practical information, support and advice to both new and existing community groups
speaking as a collective voice on matters of common interest and concern
developing a partnership with the Hull City Council in promoting and establishing community centres
