Yasira Pervez, 24, and Ian Priddle, 46, are accused of flying to Pakistan and luring Khurum Mukhtar to a hotel in Pakistan. A father-of-two has been hauled into court after breaking a law which dates back to the 1880s by lighting a village bonfire. Brett Duxfield, 39, was among scores of families who gathered on Elwick village green in County Durham to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night with their annual bonfire.
